In a significant development, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in its report submitted to Islamabad Hight Court (IHC) has cleared the Chairman and the Executive Committee, Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) of any wrongdoing in the recent PCATP elections.
The comprehensive investigation failed to find any evidence suggesting their involvement in any form of malpractice during the election process.
While the report confirmed the absence of any misconduct by the PCATP officials, it also emphasized the need for improved security measures in the electoral process.
Given the complexities involved and the absence of actionable leads, the FIA has recommended the disposal of the case, requesting the Honourable Court’s intervention in the matter.
